Wildlife expert visits Ti school

TICONDEROGA - Ticonderoga Elementary School recently welcomed Beth Bidwell of the Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York for a wildlife assembly event sponsored by the International Paper Company Foundation.

Each assembly took place in the new auditorium at Ticonderoga Elementary-Middle School. The animals Bidwell brought with her included the black rat snake, the wood turtle, the cooper-hawk, the saw-whet owl and the great horn owl.

Bidwell also stressed importance of wildlife conservation and to enjoy the Adirondack region.
