KEENE VALLEY - High school students at Keene Central School will present a staged reading of the Greek comedy "Lysistrata" Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Keene Central School auditorium. Aristophanes' satire, Lysistrata will be student-directed by 10th graders Sam Balzac and Cassandra Day. The play is a classic Greek comedy set during the Peloponnesian War, which took place from 431 BC to 404 BC.
In addition to the theatrical presentation, the students will also be offering Greek coffee and desserts.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the KCS Multi-Age trip to Greece/Italy coming up in June 2011. For more information, call 576-4555.
