Bread Loaf recently celebrated a Groundbreaking Ceremony with Ammonoosuc Community Health Services (ACHS) to kick off their expansion of the Littleton, New Hampshire care-delivery site. This expansion project will enable the health center to increase it's capacity to serve more members of the community seeking quality affordable health care. A $2.6M grant received through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act made this expansion possible. The expansion will double the size of the current Littleton facility, adding more exam rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, an elevator and many other features that will allow ACHS to continue to provide quality, affordable and patient-centered healthcare.
Founded in 1975, ACHS is a nonprofit community health center offering a network of affordable primary health services and serves 26 New Hampshire towns in northern Grafton and southern Coos counties.
Bread Loaf Corporation is the Construction Manager for the project. The building is expected to be completed in the spring of 2011.
