TICONDEROGA - A benefit fashion show for the Ticonderoga Emergency Medical Service Building Fund will be held on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Ticonderoga First United Methodist Church, 1045 Wicker St. (Rt. 9N).
Starting at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, light fare refreshments will be served. Fall fashions from the church Thrift Shop will be modeled to upbeat music and local entertainers will perform throughout the evening.
Proceeds from the sale of tickets and a silent auction will benefit the new EMS building fund. The building will be built on property between The Portage and Champlain Avenue.
Models from the EMS squad and the church will show off fall fashions for men, women and children that are suitable for play, work, formal occasions, holiday festivities and Halloween.
Door prizes will also be awarded.
Tickets are $8 each and are available at the Thrift Shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations and ticket sales are also available at the church office or by calling 585-7995.
