Students set up business

TICONDEROGA - Ticonderoga High School's Future Business Leaders of America club, FBLA, has begun a business selling t-shirts.

The business was started with Ticonderoga's Main Street Committee and has the support of several local businesses. The profits earned go towards funding the FBLA activities throughout the school year.

Two designs for the shirts have been produced.

One was designed with "the land between two waters" as a theme. This shirt is available in navy or white. The drawing of the lakes was done by Ticonderoga High School senior, Kate Mercer.

Students are also selling a black shirt that has "Ticonderoga" written down one side with a small graphic of the fort at the bottom. Hannah Herbst, also a Ticonderoga High student, drew this shirt.

Students first sold the shirts at Streetfest and Grand Tour bicycle event, where they did very well.

Shirts are currently available at Sugar and Spice, Nadeau's Farm stand, Circle Court Motel, Rathbun's and at the Moses Ludington Hospital gift shop. Shirts will soon be available at the Best Western.

Shirts are available at these outlets for $15.
