ELCS loses six to graduation, returns just two seniors

ELIZABETHTOWN - Graduation was tough on the Elizabethtown-Lewis boys basketball team as they lost six key players from their 4-11 team.

Zach Denton and Troy Light return as the only seniors on the team, but they are joined by the varsity experience of juniors Hunter Mowery, Tim LaRock and Andy Mitchell, as well as sophomore Charlie Huttig. Huttig and Mowery both saw plenty of minutes last year and will likely be a big force in the Lions' backcourt.

A slew of newcomers add depth and size to the team this year, including junior centers Ezekiel Diemand and Zach Pelletier and junior forwards Nate Rock and Corey Feeley. Juniors Patrick Phillips and Cole Fernandez will work into the guard rotation.

"Our goal is to win as many games as possible," said head coach Ralph Holzhauer.
