Crystal Hayes and Keisha Sprague celebrated their birthdays by going to Sarah's Cafe in North Creek for lunch recently.

Several Church Youth Groups in the area gathered for a full night of good, christian fun. They went the Civic Center and bowling. They had many adults that tried to keep up with them. They were back home around 7 a.m. How many slept the next day?

Ralph Hitchcock was given a big surprise 90th birthday party on Saturday. It was held at the Fish and Game Center in Chestertown. It was given by his children and grandchildren. He was happy to see so many of his family and friends. There were between 60 and 75 people there. His sisters, Charlotte Armstrong and Fanny Allen and his sister-in-law Shirley Hitchcock were among the group. The band was from Warrensburg and did a great job with some country songs. Ralph and he wife Joan were filled with so many smiles. There was plenty of good food and gifts.

The yearly Thanksgiving meal was at the Sodom Community Church after the morning worship on Sunday. The feast was enjoyed by over 50 people.
