Family Fun night returns to the Y

Arts and crafts, games and swimming returns to the Glens Falls YMCA Friday Dec. 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

All families in the area are invited to stop by from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this free YMCA Family Fun Night which includes activities for all ages. This is free and open to residents of all communities.

There will be a Holiday Open House at the YMCA Thursday, Dec. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Personal notes

Birthdays celebrated will be those of Josh Langabeer and Kody Cameron on Nov. 28, Wood Cyr and Destiny Warrington on Nov. 30. Wish Jay Silletti a Happy Birthday on Dec. 2 and Brielle MacNamara on Dec. 3.

A Happy 36th Anniversary wish goes out to Walt and Marilyn Baker on Dec. 1.

Get Well wishes are out to Myron Cameron, Ruth Near, Richard Lamphier, Vern Baker, Ken Baker and Ed Feihol.

Sympathy from the community is out to the family of Wanda Vopleus who passed away at home Nov. 14.

Prossers welcome new baby

Courtney and Darryl Prosser, Jr. of Athol are the proud parents of a daughter born Oct. 26 at Glens Falls Hospital. She was named Jasmyn Hazel and weighed six pounds, three ounces and was 18 inches long. Proud grandparents are Gail and Maurice Demars of Warrensburg, Linda Tennant of Stony Creek and Darryl Prosser Sr. of Bolton.

Basque and Powell celebrate new arrival

Jazmin Basque and Colson Powell of Chestertown are the parents of a son born Oct. 27 at the Glens Falls Hospital. He weighed seven pounds, 9.9 ounces and was 20 & 1/4 inches long. He was named Mason Phoenix. Proud Grandparents are Victoria A. Palmer of Chestertown, Joni Ellifritz of Johnsburg and Clinton Powell of Athol. Great grandmother is Charlotte Wood of Warrensburg.
