A Lake Champlain Bridge Informal On-Site Construction Update will be held today at 2 p.m. (Friday, Nov. 19) at the Crown Point Historic Site (New York side) at a location near the shoreline overlooking the bridge's project site. This gathering is open to both the public and press, and is designed to update anyone who seeks information regarding the bridge's construction.
As the New York State Department of Transportation is the lead agency on this project, it will have construction engineers on hand as well as representatives from the bridge's general contractor, Flatiron Construction, to give a presentation about where we are in the construction process, and what folks should expect over the winter. Time for questions and answers will follow the presentation.
Free parking is available at the historic site's parking lot. In case of inclement weather, the presentation will be moved into the auditorium of the museum, which adjoins the parking lot.
