Ticonderoga churches join for Thanksgiving service

TICONDEROGA - An Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Ticonderoga First United Methodist Church Sunday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m.

Members of the Ti Area Clergy Association will participate. All are welcome.

The Rev. Scott Tyler of the First United Methodist Church in Ti will be the host. Joining him will be the Rev. Bruce Tamlyn, UCC at Silver Bay, the Rev. David Hirtle and the Rev. Gregg Trask from the First Congregational Church in Crown Point, the Rev. Charles Bolsridge of the Cornerstone Alliance Church in Ti, Sister Carol Daul of the Sacred Heart Church in Crown Point, the Rev. Marjorie Floor of the Church of the Cross in Ti, and Father William Muench and Deacon Elliot Shaw of St. Mary's Church in Ti.

The Senior Bell Choir from the First United Methodist Church and members of area church choirs will also be providing special music. Familiar Thanksgiving hymns will also be sung accompanied by Grace Trombley on the new church organ.

An offering will be taken to support the Ti Area Clergy Association Fund that was established to help neighbors in need. Non-perishable food for the food pantry will also be welcome.
