Combined choral concert approaching

Adding a new twist to area musical presentations, the Senior High Chorus of Bolton Central will be hosting vocalists from Warrensburg High School for Bolton's Fall Concert, set for 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Bolton Central gymnasium. All are welcome to attend. On Nov. 3, the chorus members had reverse roles, with the BCS students performing in a concert at Warrensburg Central.

Bolton's choral director James Miller said this week that the joint effort is another way for small schools to give students a more comprehensive performance arts experience. Combining chorus groups brings different vocal ranges to the singing, he said. In addition to enhancing a students' musical education, it broadens their performance experience, he added.
