Bakers Mills News 11-13-2010

Scott and Katrina Kramar are the proud parents of a son, Quinton Michael Alexander Kramar. He was born Nov. 4. He weighed in at 6 pounds 13.3 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. His great grandparents are Rollie and Shirley Cleveland and great great grandmother is Pansy Allen.

Heather Bacon spent over two days on a bus going to New Mexico. She is there to see her sister who has been having some strokes and is not doing well. Sure is a long trip by bus.

Roger Lewis had quite a trip to Oklahoma and back. His family is glad to have him home.

The Flea Market/Bake Sale put on by the Community Compassions at the Sodom Community Church a was a great success. Good soups and stews were for sale for lunches as well as baked goods. There were a lot of great buys and many will be helped during the holidays. It was great to see Hazel Wells from Schroon Lake, her mom, Hilda and stepdad, Dave. Hilda lived in Bakers Mills years ago. Where do the years go?

Earl Allen, Dezore Cleveland and Kjerstia Schilinski ate lunch in Edinburg on Sunday afternoon then visited Guy and Dorothy Edwards. The Edwards make Maple Syrup each spring.

Patricia Roberts was happy to be able to go back to work at Glens Falls Hospital on Nov. 8 after being off for 11 weeks.
