Poultney High School has had a strong start to the school year with past and future events and accomplishments, as well as community involvement-


For the past two weeks, the 7th, 8th, and 11th grade students took the NECAPS, and teachers/administrators noticed that students focused and put more effort than usual. Thank you to students for a job well done.

Computer 101

Through Young At Heart community members began "Computer 101", a more advanced class from last year, taught by PHS technology coordinator Vinnie Covino and Julie Covino, admin. asst. special ed. The class runs for ten weeks on Wednesday nights from 3-5 p.m. in the PHS computer lab. "The first class was a huge success filled to capacity," said Covino. "It's nice to see the participants learning something new and embracing technology."

Upcoming Drama Production

Scott Holliman, English and drama director, has his troupe working on John Lennon and Me an "Uproarious play about life, death, power and first boyfriends. Performances will be Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
