A team at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh received a trophy for winning third place at the Pumpkin Chuckin' competition in Cambridge, Vt., Oct. 3. The team was the college's physics/engineering club, which consisted of assistant professor of physics Dr. Ken Podolak and a number of undergraduate students who were responsible for building the launcher named "The Plattsburgh Golden Cardinal."
