Secretary/Treasurer Sandy Denton (right) and Vice President Edward Cross (left) from the Lewis Fire Department present Dina Garvey, Chairperson of the Lewis Playground Committee, with a check for $1,676 for the Lewis Playground. The Lewis Fire Department donated their share of the proceeds from the annual Fish Fry at the Wooden Nickel to the project. The next event to raise funds for the Lewis playground will be a Carnival Day June 5, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. behind the Lewis Town Hall featuring rides, games, and live entertainment.
