Plattsburgh International flights to Boston begin next month

PLATTSBURGH - Plattsburgh International Airport officially announced May 20 new nonstop service between Plattsburgh and Boston from US Airways Express beginning June 24.

The new service will offer multiple daily flights between Plattsburgh International Airport and Boston's Logan Airport using its Saab 340 aircraft. The aircraft, which seats up to 34 passengers, also features a pressurized cabin, large overhead bins, restroom and flight attendant.

US Airways Express will be first introducing itself to the North Country on at the Business Expo hosted by the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from US Airways Express will be exhibiting at the expo and promoting the new service to regional businesses at the Plattsburgh State Field House on Rugar Street from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
