North Country Outreach Center needs temporary food delivery volunteer

NORTH CREEK - The North Country Outreach Center has been able to provide fresh produce and other healthy perishable pantry items to those in need throughout the area twice a month, largely due to the volunteer efforts of Don Lasher.

Lasher has recently injured his back and although still able to make these trips, he cannot load or unload the items from his truck. The Outreach Center is seeking a volunteer(s) who could make the trip to Albany to help load the groceries or help with the unloading in Wevertown. These trips take place the second and fourth Monday of each month. Lasher leaves in the morning and arrives at the Outreach Center by noon. Interested people should contact Anita Abrams at 251- 2138.
