Upcoming Senior Center Activities

BELLOWS FALLS - The Bellows Falls Senior Center is offering some exciting trips for the upcoming months. Trips are mostly chartered tours with the exception of the August trip which will be on the Center's van.

May's presentation is a concert by Daniel O'Donnell in Saratoga Springs on May 24. This will be a two-and-a-half hour performance of Irish ballads and songs. Tour includes show, lunch at the Golden Coral and transportation. Tickets still available.

July finds us traveling to Ogunquit, ME for an overnight stay. Included in this tour is a summer theater show at the Ogunquit Playhouse (Sound of Music), lunch at the Weathervane Restaurant in York, lobster bake at the Bull & Claw in Wells after the show, overnight at the Hampton Inn in Wells. Day two includes breakfast, a visit to the Stonewall Kitchens and a living history tour of historic Old York.

Salem Whale Watching overnight on September 7-8 includes whale watching off Gloucester, dinner and show at the Amesbury Playhouse, Salem Witch Museum, Pickering Wharf, board the "Friendship" sailing ship and lunch at the Tavern on the Square.

On October 3-4 we depart for Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH. Lunch in Littleton (on your own) before boarding the Conway Scenic Railroad for a trip through the White Mountains. Evening dinner and show at Indian Head resort. Day two begins with a hearty breakfast, a stop at Clark's Trading Post before heading to Hart's Turkey Farm for an included lunch.

Visit Radio City Rockettes and King Tut in NYC on November 16-17. December's offering is a day trip to Westborough, MA offered by Best of Times for holiday luncheon and show by the 3 Swingin' Tenors, great singers and impersonators .
