LUDLOW - Continuing a tradition established several years ago, students from Black River Middle School in conjunction with Black River Academy Museum will present "Voices From the Past", a cemetery walk at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Ludlow on Wednesday, May 26 starting at 6:30 p.m.
The project will feature students from the 8th grade at Black River Middle School, dressed in appropriate costumes, standing by the gravestone of people who once lived in the area. The students, based on their own research and assistance from BRAM, will provide a brief story about the person they studied and their contributions to the community they lived in. Frequently the person selected to be researched by the student is a relative.
Refreshments will be offered by BRAM at the museum following the walk. The program is free although donations will be accepted.
In the event on rain, the walk will be rescheduled for May 27.
