North Creek unveils Art Walk 2010

NORTH CREEK - Main Street in North Creek will transform and take the shape of an art museum the evening of Thursday, May 20 as various artists will be showcased in local businesses as part of North Creek's first art walk of the debut 2010 series. The walks will continue on the third Thursday of every month through Sept. from 5 - 7 p.m. and will feature a variety of artists and mediums.

Spearheaded by North Creek Depot Museum Director, Michelle San Antonio, the event is designed to draw attention to not only the featured artists, but also the businesses of North Creek.

"This is an exciting new event," she said. "We hope that it draws people out on to the streets of North Creek."

San Antonio developed the idea from similar shows that she has attended throughout the Northeast.
