Vermont Academy Tibet Women Program

SAXTONS RIVER - On Thursday, May 6, at 9:15 a.m. in Vermont Academy's Horowitz Hall, Michelle Bos-Lun of Westminster will share life stories of Tibetan women whom she interviewed in Dharamsala, India.

Bos-Lun, who has served as the Chairperson of the Monadnock Friends of Tibet since 2003, did graduate research while working on her Masters Degree in International Education at the SIT Graduate Institute during 2004- 2005. She interviewed six Tibetan women who fled Tibet on foot over the Himalayas between 1999 and 2005.

The life stories of the women are compelling and inspiring. All experienced immense hardships during their flight from Tibet and yet have found ways to thrive despite overwhelming challenges.

Horowitz Hall is handicapped accessible. For more information, call 869-6212.
