The Bountiful Harvest Of Posie's Place

Welcome to Posie's Place, a unique, seasonally inspired farm stand located on Route 5 N in Ascutney and founded by Julie Baker and George Belt.

Open seven days a week, Posie's works with local growers and farm producers to present the bounty of Vermont's rich agricultural landscape.

Artisan cheeses, fresh eggs, maple syrup and honey, as well as locally grown bedding plants, herbs and vegetables, Posie's truly supports local producers, helping them to bring their products to market.

Baker has an extensive background in the floral industry and has added fresh cut flowers to Posie's artfully designed patio planters, window boxes, hanging baskets, custom flower arrangements as fresh, dried and silk flowers.

The shop is also filled to the brim with ideas for unique Mother's Day gifts. Customers can select from traditional gifts such as cut flower arrangements and hanging baskets, or try something more unique such as Majesty Bells wind chimes or beautifully hand-painted slates.

Summer will also bring the bountiful harvest of fresh fruits and vegetables, heralded in by the arrival of strawberries in June and closely followed with Posie's own crops of peas, beans, cucumbers, summer squashes and tomatoes.

Stop by Posie's Place to sample the farm fresh flavors, see the colorful displays and smell the wonderful fragrance of the herbs and flowers, all inspired by local farmers and the desire to share their bounty.
