Ocean explorer to speak in Ti

TICONDEROGA - David Gallo, director of special projects at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, Mass., and a pioneer in ocean exploration, will present "The Secrets of the Sea: Exploring Neptune's Realm" Monday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ticonderoga High School auditorium.

All are welcome to attend this community presentation.

Gallo was a co-expedition leader during an exploration of the RMS Titanic and the German battleship Bismarck, using Russian Mir subs. On behalf of the Woods Hole labs, he appears around the country speaking on ocean exploration and water issues, and leading tours of the deep-ocean submersible Alvin.
