PLATTSBURGH - "Healthy Women, Healthy Babies: Exploring Health Topics Affecting Young Families" will be hosted at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh Tuesday, May 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The day-long conference - to be hosted in Angell College Center's Warren Ballrooms - will include topics on genetic and environmental influences on child wellness, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, pre-term births, and ethical dilemmas in prenatal care.
The conference is designed for physicians, obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, healthcare students and other health professionals.
The cost to attend is $100 for healthcare professionals; $50 healthcare students with college ID.
