Harvey at opera house

VERGENNES-The Vergennes Opera House presents "Harvey" this month. When Elwood P. Dowd starts to introduce his imaginary friend, Harvey (a six-and-a-half-foot rabbit) to guests at a society party, his sister Veta, has seen as much of his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate. She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare their family future embarrassment.Problems arise, however, when the doctors commit Veta instead of Elwood. Only at the end dose Veta realize that Harvey might not be so bad after all. This classic comedy is a charming and lovable story about the friendships that move us the most. This classic, thoughtful comedy is directed by Melinda Umezaki
