Fifty-five Lake George Central School students escaped injury on the morning of March 18, 1960, in a crash four miles from Lake George village near Dunham's Bay. The incident involved a school bus, a bakery truck and a parked automobile. The bus was driven by Arthur Carlson, 51, of Glen Lake. Samuel Waite, 44, was arrested for parking his car on the highway while he was working at a nearby house.
