North Creek chocolatier unveils one pound Easter egg truffle

NORTH CREEK - Barkeater Chocolates in North Creek unveiled this week a one pound chocolate truffle in anticipation of Easter.

"Easter is about reflection, celebration and being with people you love. To share a truffle much in the way you share a cake is the ultimate culmination of a good day," said Barkeater owner, Deb Morris.

To put a one pound chocolate truffle into perspective - it's like eating more than 20 regular-sized Barkeater truffles.

"Definitely something you shouldn't try alone. Or at least in one sitting," Morris added.

Morris will offer the anticipated truffle in three varieties: dark chocolate, white chocolate and peanut butter.

True to the Barkeater tradition, these truffles are all made with natural ingredients and high-end, quality gourmet chocolate.

"The goal for the oversized Easter Egg Truffle was to create a delicious family tradition that people can look forward to year after year," said Morris. "People love tradition. Especially on holidays."

Morris is preparing for a significant demand for these truffles. They can be purchased online at www.barkeaterchocolates.com or in person.
