The Warrensburgh Historical Society will host a presentation on covered bridges and their restoration at 4 p.m. Sunday March 21 in the Warrensburg Senior Center, 3837 Main St. Jim Ligon of Thurman, Project Superintendent for Alpine Construction, will be the presenter. Ligon has been involved with the rehabilitation of covered bridges for more than 10 years. The recently completed Jay Bridge in Essex County is among his projects. Light refreshments will be available at this event. Admission is free, and all are invited to attend.
