VSP releases details of teen sexual assault

RUTLAND - On Dec. 8, 2009, the Vermont State Police Rutland Unit for Special Investigations received a complaint of a sexual assault allegedly occurring in the City of Rutland.

The December complaint was investigated and resulted in Jordan Walker, who was 16 years old at the time of the incident, being charged with the crime of sexual assault. The victim is a juvenile female.

Walker has been issued a citation and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Rutland District Court on March 2.

The RUSI is a multi-disciplinary team specializing in the investigation and prosecution of crimes of a sexual nature toward adults or children, and crimes of extreme physical violence toward children.
