Michelle Gottschall's fourth grade class and Nichole Nevaders' second grade class at Momot Elementary School recently participated in a Learn & Serve project called "Cupcakes and Carrot Sticks for a Cure", to help raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The students challenged all classes to raise $5 in change and rewarded them with a cupcake and carrot stick party. Overall, $600 was raised.
