Cats need loving homes in Rutland area

The Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) has many adult cats available for adoption-at last count there were 36 adult cats who are looking for loving homes.

These year-old or older felines are already housetrained and are still quite playful and full of life. They'll add companionship and love to any household.

RCHS does not charge an adoption fee for cats one year old or older but donations are gladly accepted. lease consider adopting an adult cat this Summer; you'll be happy you did. For more information, please call the shelter.

Kitty Anne

6 month old. Spayed Female. Domestic Short Hair Calico Tiger.

I am a very sweet little girl and would make a nice family member. I can be a little shy when we first meet but give me a few minutes and I am sure you will fall in love. As you can tell from my picture I really like to snuggle in boxes so if I come up missing you will know where to look.

9 month old. Spayed Female. Pit Bull mix.

I am a confident, playful dog who is looking for a lifetime family with good leadership skills-I am the kind of dog who is really eager to do the right thing-I just need to know what it is. I enjoy playing and I know Sit and Shake.

4 year old. Spayed Female. Beagle.

I am a sweet, timid dog who is eager to make friends but am uncomfortable in new situations. I need a calm, friendly owner who will spend a lot of time with me and let me take my time getting used to new things. I don't seem to mind other animals but, as always, proper introductions and supervision would be necessary.

Adult. Neutered Male. Standard Rabbit.

I came to the shelter as a stray and after a short stay here I am ready to hop on into my forever home. I absolutely love my green lettuce. Please stop by for a visit. A veggie treat is always appreciated.
