PERU - The Babbie Rural and Farm Learning Museum, 250 River Road, will officially open this Saturday, June 12, at 10 a.m.
The museum will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. with honored guests U.S. Congressman William L. Owens, D-Plattsburgh; state Assemblywoman Janet L. Duprey, R-Peru; Clinton County Legislature chairman James R. Langley Jr., R-Area 7; and Peru Town Supervisor Peter G. Glushko.
The open house will include free stagecoach rides, antique machinery demonstrations, horses and miniature donkeys, and displays in several farm buildings.
Saranac artist Jack Stone, an experience mouth painter, will be among artists giving demonstrations.
