This week we would like to tell you about Lilly and Rosie, two beautiful Golden Retrievers who were found by the shelter staff when they came to work this past weekend. Hopefully someone will fall in love with both of them so that they can continue to live together as a pair because they have already been housemates for eight years! Both Lilly and Rosie are sweet, friendly and affectionate dogs who will stop and socialize with everyone they meet. Both ladies are easygoing and gentle giants, who only want an opportunity to share their love. They are typical Golden Retrievers and true to their breed - intelligent, loyal, and fun-loving. Please stop by and meet the Twins!

If you are seeking the company of feline friends, we also have a huge number of new kittens and cats who are hoping to find homes before summer is here. We have both longhair and shorthair kittens, in every hue imaginable, from tabby to tuxedo, and everything in between. Our adult cats range from lap-kitty to mouse-stalker. We currently have 48 cats in all - and 15 dogs - who would love to meet you!

Check out our website at www.ncspca.org for information about our hours of operation and adoption policies. We also feature regular updates and articles of interest if you would like to learn more about the shelter goings-on and stories behind some of our animals.
