Honeybee Foundation awards grants

WESTPORT-The Honeybee Community Fund has awarded grants to the following nineteen people, businesses, and organizations during its spring funding cycle:

Adirondack Harvest, Adirondack Heritage Hogs, Bub's Pizza & Deli, Crane Mountain Valley Horse Rescue, Creative Hands, EM Cooper Memorial Public Library in Wilmington, Exploring Nature Educational Resource, Keene-Lake Placid Tween Tribe, Lakeside Preschool, Lewis Community Playground, Little Peaks Preschool, Me & My Girls Caf , Town of Moriah Food Pantry, Paintings Conservator Emily Gardener Phillips, Tree b Gone Tree Service, Tricia Hart Family Day Care, Westport Fish & Game Club for bridge rehabilitation, Westport Youth Commission for field trips, and Whiteface Regional Visitor's Bureau for the first annual Food Fair featuring local produce.

The Honeybee Community Fund offers spring and fall rounds of grants of up to $1,000 to assist small businesses, farmers, not-for-profits, environmental and arts projects - only in Essex County.
