Moriah claimed fourth place at the Section VII golf championship tournament May 27 at Westport Country Club.
The Vikings posted a 353. Plattsburgh won with a 315.
Ralph Schofield fired an 82, Phil Belzer an 84 and Landon Cross a 90 to pace Moriah.
Ticonderoga finished 11th with a score of 395, led by Alex Yaw's 88.
Schroon Lake was 12th with 405. Tim Mahler had a 91 for the Wildcats.
In the state qualifying round for individuals May 28, Ticonderoga's Yaw led local linksters. He fired an 88 second round for a 176 total.
Belzer of Moriah had a second-day 93 for a 177; Mahler of Schroon Lake fired an 89 for a 180; Schofield of Moriah had a 99 for a 181 and Cross of Moriah had a 93 for a 183. No other local golfer made the cut.
Ticonderoga 4, Peru 2
Alex Yaw fired a 40 to lead Ticonderoga past Peru, 4-2, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference golf play May 24.
Yaw, Matt Nolan and Adam Losher won matches for the Sentinels. Nick Bezon and Tucker Ward split their matches for the locals.
Ticonderoga 3 1/2, Seton 2 1/2
Nick Bezon paced Ticonderoga to a 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 victory against Seton Catholic in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference golf play May 25.
Bezon won his match with a low round of 47.
Jacob Young and Adam Losher also posted wins for the locals. Alex Yaw tied his match.
Schroon men's league
Team 8, consisting of Ethan Tyrell, Gene Coppola, Skip Mahler and Gene White, leads the Schroon Lake Golf Club Men's League after one week of play.
Closest to the Pin was Tim Beck at 90 inches; John Swinton and Wayne Welch tied for low gross at 40; and Gene White was low net at 29.
