WESTPORT - On July 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., Ballard Park is hosting its annual fundraising event. This annual party provides the funds necessary to maintain the park's splendor for all to enjoy, including maintenance of the grounds and the gardens, not to mention the pavilion that is home to the summer concert series, and the swimming beach, open to the public.
This year's theme is "Bring-Back-the Beach-Party." Over the years, the beach bank has eroded and Ballard Park's next major project is to stabilize the bank, and rejuvenate the beach area. The event is open to the public. For further information, call 962-8220.
