Upper Hudson Musical Arts welcomes Szokody to the local stage once again

NORTH CREEK - Upper Hudson Musical Arts announces a performance by the Aniko Szokody Piano Quintet Friday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tannery Pond Community Center.

The concert will include a performance of Ernst Dohnanyi's Quintet in C Major and Antonin Dvorak's Quintet for Piano in A Major, Op.81. Both compositions are for Piano, two violins, viola and cello. Joining pianist Aniko Szokody will be violinists Mitsuko Suzuki and Amanda Brin, violist Yi-Pi Yang and cellist Jonathan Brin.

Aniko Szokody is a native of Hungary and holds a master of music degree in piano performance from Indiana University, a piano artist degree and teachers diploma from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and an artist diploma from the Conservatorio Beethoven in Argentina. Aniko has performed across Europe, in Argentina and the United States. She has performed on several occasions in the North Creek area including three performances with Michael Dabrowski and the Adirondack Ensemble.
