Agnes Straight was happy to have her son, Scott Hitchcock with her for a week and her son, Darrell Hitchcock for two weeks.

Seth Dunkley enjoyed going to Schroon Lake to watch the fireworks with George and Erin Dunkley and family.

Shanna Whitney Schott and daughter, Whitney Rose had a good time on their vacation visiting family and friends. Shanna will be on duty to Africa in Sept.

Pansy Allen turned 88 July 11. Family gathered at Martha's to be with Allen for her birthday on Saturday.

Many in the area enjoyed the circus on Friday in North Creek.

The PHA-Camp Triumph had their Camp meeting and Conference this weekend. Great messages were shared each night. Good music was presented by Mike Wells from New Jersey. Ron Allen and Fred Allen were the speakers. Fred was also guest speaker at the Sodom Community Church on Sunday.

There was a great celebration at Minerva Beach on Sunday afternoon for Allan and Beverly MacDonald. Great turn-out and heaps of great food, including a sheet cake with a great picture of the happy couple. Emma Parsons was happy to have her picture taken with her children.

Kora Millington spent a great week with her grandparents in Davenport.

Dauphin Conlon received a scholarship from Cornell Cooperative Extension to attend the Skye Farm Camp in Bolton. He will be there for this whole week.

Geneva Wolfe was given a surprise 80th birthday gathering on Saturday. It was at the home of Gary and Sherry Wolfe. She had no clue even while getting a ride to the driveway.

Rollie Cleveland and daughter Tanya Wemett attended the benefit in Warrensburg for John Jay and Brenda Cleveland. There was a BBQ with lots of food and desserts. There were many baskets to buy tickets for.


Wade Hammond will be in concert on Sunday, July 18, at 7 p.m. at the Sodom Community Church.
