Agnes Straight was thrilled to be able to drive to Albany airport Saturday morning to greet her sons, Darrell and Scott Hitchcock. Both are in the area visiting family and friends for a while.

Best wishes to all graduates for their success. Three from Bakers Mills graduated and were happy to have parties to share in their accomplishments. Congratulations to Karl Lawrence, Bridgette Crooms and Keri Cleveland.

Geraldine Cleveland Chambers and daughter, Cindy, from Pa. were happy to make the trip to attend graduation and share with family and friends at a party for Keri Cleveland.

The community is sad about the death of Carroll Rawson. He was seen at the Hardware Store in North Creek for so many years. He will be greatly missed.

The memorial service for Wilda "Billie" Martin overflowed at the Johnsburg Methodist Church. A lot of precious thoughts and memories were shared. Billie will be greatly missed. She always had a great smile.

Keisha Sprague was the hostess to a PartyLite party on Saturday. The new catalogue has some great specials including spices. Karl and Sarina Szule from North Carolina enjoyed a great vacation to this area. They stayed with Sarina's grandmother, Norma West. Sarina was thrilled to be able to surprise her dad, Tim Allen and wife, Cindy. They enjoyed going to the Christmas store in Vermont, crossing the Ferry near Lake Champlain. They were able to visit uncle Ron and aunt Kathy Allen. They enjoyed homemade soup their, sharing with cousin Rachel and her three children. Karl and Sarina were happy to take Norma to Prospect Mountain in Lake George and Dawna Jackson to the garnet mines.

Events

The PHA Camp Meeting and conference will be held at Camp Triumph July 7-10. Meetings each night at 7 p.m.

Wade Hammond will be in concert at the Sodom Community Church July 18 at 7 p.m. A love offering will be taken.
