Highway workers appreciate tribute
The Thurman highway crew expressed heartfelt thanks this week for the turnout at the Dec. 23 luncheon put on for them by townsfolk who wanted to show them appreciation for the great job the crew has does throughout the year. A variety of delicious homemade covered dishes, plus other foods, were brought in and enjoyed by all at the event. The highway department would like to thank everyone and add a special Thank You to Paula Hubert and Maria Ligon who set everything up and then cleaned up afterwards. Thanks are expressed to all!
