WILLSBORO - A Willsboro man has been arrested after allegedly firing a rifle at an occupied vehicle.
Devon S. Crowningshield, 22, of Willsboro has been charged with Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Possession of a Weapon after, according to police, he discharged one round from a rifle while on Main Street in Willsboro sometime around 8:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
The shot struck a nearby vehicle. One of its occupants, who police are not naming at this time, sustained minor injuries from broken glass.
Crowningshield faces two counts of first degree Reckless Endangerment, a Class D felony, as well as one count of fourth degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.
Crowningshield was arraigned before Town Justice William Garrison Feb. 17 and remanded to Essex County Jail without bail. He was scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
