New Voices are a Hit

Deborah Copagen Kogan (author of From Here to April) fields a question at the 16th annual New Voices series, hosted by Chester's Misty Valley Books. The event, attended by a capacity crowd, took place at the First Universalist Church in Chester's Stone Village on Jan. 30.

The other authors, from left, are Matthew Dicks (Something Mis ing), Elena Gorokhova (A Mountain of Crumbs), James Landis (The Last Day) and Heidi Durrow (The Girl Who Fell from the Sky ). The yearly event, organized by Misty Valley Books' Bill and Lynne Reed, brings promising new authors to read their work to a Vermont audience.
