Weaving With Six Loose ladies

Throughout February and March Six Loose Ladies in Proctorsville will turn our focus to weaving.

We have several weaving demonstration sessions scheduled with Phyllis Bont, veteran local weaver and Fiber Arts in Vermont member, who will demonstrate on the "Flip-It" loom. The "Flip-It" is a small, rigid-heddle loom that folds down easily and fits into its own carry bag so it can be stored away neatly, or whisked off to classes or even on vacations!

Phyllis is especially excited by the possibilities that the "Flip-It" offers in terms of its portability and affordability, thereby making weaving more accessible to many more people; and Phyllis is all about sharing her love of this craft with others.

Phyllis' lovely work and let her show you how it's done. Demonstrations will occur on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 5-7 p.m.; Saturday, March 6 from 1-3 p.m.; Sunday, March 14 from 2-4 p.m. For additional information, call 226-7373, or stop in at #7 Depot Street in Proctorsville.
