Bellows Falls' 3rd Friday Artwalk

Village Square Booksellers & the Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce of Bellows Falls invites the public to "3rd Friday Art Walk" Feb. 19 from 5-8 p.m., an opportunity to stroll through the art galleries, shops, and art venues of Bellows Falls, for art, music and literary events.

Gilbert & Sullivan at Main Street Arts

Tickets are now on sale for the 11th Annual Gilbert & Sullivan production at Main Street Arts in Saxtons River, that opens Friday, March 5 for a two-week run.

In addition to March 5, performances are March 6, 12, and 13 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional performance Thursday, March 11, also at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are March 7 and 14 at 3 p.m.

The Gondoliers will be directed by Annesa Hartman, with Ken Olsson as music director.

Tickets are available in advance at $15 for adults and $10 for students or at the door for $17 and $12, respectively, and are on sale at Main Street Arts, Village Square Booksellers, Brattleboro Books, Putney Books or Misty Valley Books or online at MainStreetArts.org/tickets.

Weston Playhouse Hosts Free Concert

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company celebrates its fourth annual New Musical Award with a free concert of selections from its 2010 award winner, Saint-Ex, on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. at the Weston Playhouse on the Village Green in Weston.

Admission to the 1-hour concert is free, with contributions to Weston's New Works program welcome. Secure reservation by getting tickets on www.westonplayhouse.org or calling 824-5288. Seating is general admission and early arrival is recommended.

Putnams Featured at Walpole Cooperative

Walpole will host two artists from the Putnam family this month.

David Putnam, a photographer and framer based in Claremont, NH, will be a featured guest artist at the Walpole Artisans Cooperative located at 52 Main Street in Walpole, NH. He is a photographer of the New England landscape. Come see his new work entitled: "Nautical Shells".
