NORTH WARREN - North Warren's Krazy Downhill Derby is planned this year for Saturday, Feb. 20.
Rules are few but they must be adhered to. The sleds must be hand-made and must not be motorized. A total of four people are allowed to ride on one sled, and they must have a system of braking. Even though hay bales are positioned at strategic points on the hill to break their speed, the landing can be rough. Just in case, a medical team is positioned at the bottom of the hill to respond to any injuries.
In addition to the downhill sled race, there is an old-fashioned broomball tournament planned.

9 a.m. Broomball Tournament Registration
9:30 a.m.Broomball Tournament Begins
11 a.m. Krazy Downhill Derby Registration
12 p.m.Krazy Downhill Derby Begins
