Hungry Bear Publishing publisher Andy Flynn hands a check of $682.50 to Goff-Nelson Memorial Library director Linda Auclair Jan. 28. The check represents royalties from the first two months of sales of the re-print of "Mostly Spruce and Hemlock," by Louis Simmons, which was released in November 2009. The Tupper Lake library benefits from all copies sold of this classic history of Tupper Lake. Simmons first self-published the volume in 1976.
