Family tree workshop for kids next Saturday

PLATTSBURGH - "DNA Detectives: What's Shaking in your Family Tree?" will be hosted at Plattsburgh Public Library, 19 Oak St., Saturday, Feb. 20, from 2:30-4 p.m.

The program, geared toward children ages 10 and older, will be hosted by Robin Caudell and will allow participants to use a family tree and biographical notes to write a diamante poem abouta family member.

The program is free and limited to 20 children.

Registration may be done in advance by sigining up at the library's Children's Room desk or by calling Helen Nerska Allen at 643-0938.
