SARANAC LAKE - Pendragon Theatre will kick off its 30th year with a celebration of the community and Carnival Sunday, February 14th from 5-7 p.m.
"It is safe to say that we would not have made it to this milestone without the gracious and generous support of the extraordinary community in which we live and work," said theatre co-founder Susan Neal. "This is just a small token of our appreciation."
Soup and Chili will be served courtesy of the Lakeview Deli, as well as a variety of light refreshments. A number of "memorabilia" items will be on display for people to browse. Members of the staff and Board of Directors will be available to provide information about upcoming events, promotional opportunities and special events associated with this 30th year.
Guests can also enjoy great Irish music provided by the following outstanding musicians: Michael Cooney, uilleann pipe player and recording artist from Tipperary Ireland; Barry Kilbourne, concertina player formally from the band Inisheer; Shamim Allen, local rhythm guitar player; Sue Grimm, area musician and music teacher; and Kyle Murray, percussionist playing the bodhran.
