Free H1N1 Flu Shot Clinics

There will be H1N1 Flu shot Clinics, free for Vermont residents that are older than 36 months of age at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center at 105 Chester Road in Springfield on the following dates: Feb. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m, Feb. 10, 3-6 p.m., Feb. 20 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Book Sale at Holy Trinity

There will be a book sale on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 90 Park Street in Springfield.

All types of books, VCR tapes, cassettes, puzzles and religious articles. Prices are hardcovers for 50 cents, paperbacks and kids books are 25 cents. Other items as marked.

Library Hosts Mardi Gras Event

Kids ages 5 and up can get ready for Mardi Gras at the Springfield Town Library on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m. Make a mask, eat King Cake, and more. This program is supported by the Friends of the Springfield Town Library. For details call 885-3108.

New Thought Vermont Meeting

New Thought Vermont, a spiritual group offering a practical path for health, prosperity and serenity will offer a service on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Church in Springfield. The title of the message by Rev. Will Freeman is "The Yellow VW and the Red Jeep." An open discussion group meets at 9 a.m.

VAULT Hosts Chocolate Tasting

Gallery at the VAULT is hosting a Chocolate Tasting on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 1 until 5 p.m. Visitors can nibble on an assortment of fine chocolate morsels made by local artisans and chefs at this special pre-Valentine's Day event. Sign up on VAULT's gift registry. The suggested donation of $3 helps support VAULT's children's programs.
