Teams experienced a slow week in MVAC play this week. The Orange on both the boy's and girl's side remain the teams to beat in the league. Although, Crown Point put a blemish on the boy's otherwise clean record last week, they returned in a strong performance against Chazy. The women, also easily topped Chazy in a non-league test.
Boys Basketball

CHAZY - Kris Bain led Indian Lake-Long Lake and put up 21 points, including one three-point shot and pulled down nine rebounds as the Orange topped non-league test Chazy on Jan. 29.
Zack Mitchell finished with nine points, including one three-pointer, Matt Rusch had seven rebounds, and Jordan Wallace put up five points with one three-pointer. Ben Black totalled one basket in the win.
The Orange drastically improved their foul shooting percentage and went 13 for 16 from the foul line. Their record improved to 7-1 in the league and 10-1 overall.
Chazy took the lead early and was up by four points at the end of the first quarter. The Orange picked up their offense in the second half and outscored Chazy 26-12.
Girls Basketball

CHAZY - Three players scored in double digits as the Orange easily beat Chazy on Jan. 29.
Indian Lake-Long Lake's Carli Reynolds scored a game-high 20 points, including two three-pointers while pulling down six boards and handing out four assists.
Allison Pine finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Elizabeth Hamden had 12 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win. Both made large contributions to the win.
Murphy Farrell and Melanie Pierson finished with a basket apiece.
Megan Reynolds finished with 15 points for Chazy.
Indian Lake-Long Lake secured a ten point lead by the end of the first quarter and outscored Chazy 28-14 in the second half.
The Orange boast an overall record of 10-2.
